Hope House of Itasca County is currently seeking applicants for Chemical Dependency Technicians!

– Entry-level position – no experience necessary, training provided on-site
– Positions available at the Hope House Men’s program and the Pear Lake Women’s Program
– Must be able to pass a background check
– Must be 18 years of age or older
– Must be two years free of problematic substance use
– Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license
– Full and part-time, evening and weekend shifts available
– Many opportunities for advancement within the agency
– Flexible schedules are available
– Starting wage is $16/hour with additional opportunities for generous overtime and holiday pay

Mental Health Professional/Clinical Trainee

Hope House of Itasca County is currently seeking a qualified mental health professional, clinical trainee, or graduate student in the field of mental and behavioral health to join our incredible clinical team!

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, and treatment plan reviews, and maintain case notes according to policy.
  • Collaborate with our incredible clinical team and clients to further the mission of Hope House.
  • Implement appropriate interventions according to each individual client’s treatment plan.
  • Facilitate mental health education and support groups for residential clients.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per guidelines.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, and other Hope House staff as needed.
  • Provide necessary mental health supervision and/or case consultation for clinical staff to ensure co-occurring client needs are met.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training.
  • Complete all 245G training/requirements. 

Requirements:

  • A master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university, and on track to obtain licensure in your designated field.
  • Have, or be pursuing, clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc.).
  • Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and adhere to ethical standards, including appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete all other required documents in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work with a diverse client population within a diverse clinical setting.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Hope House offers a diverse variety of internship opportunities across our continuum of care. We offer internship experiences for a range of degree levels, including those seeking associate, undergraduate, and graduate degrees in the fields of Social Work, Psychology, and other human service fields. Hands-on, attentive supervision is available for students, clinical trainees, Licensed Graduate Social Work license holders (LGSW), Alcohol and Drug Counseling temporary permit holders (ADC-T), Licensed Social Work license holders (LSW), as well as those seeking supervision in the fields of clinical psychology, marriage and family counseling, and current or future mental health practitioners.
