Becoming Healthy - Phase I

80 Hours of primary treatment – Individual Treatment Plans are designed to address the specific emotional, physical, and psychological problems created by substance abuse. An individual, together with his/her counselor, will develop a plan for treatment that will focus on changing behaviors and patterns of daily living that are preventing them from living a full healthy lifestyle. Phase I participants meet 3 nights per week.

Staying Healthy - Phase II

20 Hour continuation to strengthen progress made in Phase I. Emphasis is on preventing relapse to old behaviors and helping individuals mainitain sober living skills. Phase II participants meet 1 night per week.

 

Hope House Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Treatment includes:

  • Education about the Disease ( alchoholism, drug addiction )  that helps our clients identify and associate emotional difficulties with their chemical use, such as anger, grief, anxiety.  Other topics explored are cross-addiction and mental health issues.
  • Education on Relapse Prevention provides education and support for recognizing and coping with relapse “triggers” (warning signs that a relapse can occur).
  • Interpersonal Relationships focuses on building and maintaining healthy relationships within, or out of, the family unit.
  • Sober Recreation tailored to individual interests and involvment in community activities, which offers fun and sober interaction with others.
  • 12 Step Orientation introduces the steps to recovery that have been used to help millions obtain, and maintain, a sober life. Completion of Steps 1-5 is required to complete the program.
  • C.A.R.E. (Chemical Addiction Resources and Education) provides support for families that may have one or more members experiencing substance abuse problems. This program is designed to be a referral source for family members, or loved ones, who have questions about why this happened, and how they can help. Our staff is available to meet with them to help them understand the disease, treatment, and help guide them through the process of recovery.
